JB's classic waterfront strip: a long promenade with Straits views, seaside restaurants and beach bars (e.g. Marine Beach Bar at Country Garden, noon–midnight). Good at sunset, free to stroll.
Manage expectations: the Danga Bay World Theme Park rides permanently closed in early 2024, and parts of the strip feel quiet or under redevelopment. Go for the sea breeze and dinner, not “theme park”.
