Why go
The single most famous single-dish restaurant in JB — 30+ years of curry fish head pilgrims. The pot is rich and lemak without being too spicy; add fried beancurd skin. One pot feeds 2–3.
It's lunch-only and sells out (daily 8am–4pm), with a queue at lunch. A July 2025 Google review confirms the fish is fresh and portions huge for two. Some longtime fans say the queue and quality are slightly less magical than a decade ago — it's still the benchmark.
